What is your idea about?

The community is using rector to upgrade websites to newer versions but writing the rules is complex and very time consuming. There is not much effort from the community to provide rector rules so the only way to add more rules is currently through very few people.

What do you want to achieve by the end of Q2 2024?

Create more rules to update TYPO3 to v13 which are possible to do with Rector and restore TypoScript and Flexform rules which had to be removed before in order to upgrade to Rector 1.0

What is the potential impact of your idea for the overall goal?

Faster and cheaper TYPO3 Upgrades because many migrations can be automated

Which budget do you need for your idea?

5.000 Euro

I think this will save developers a lot of work.

As a developer I really support this idea!

There was already a budget granted for this task in Q1/2024. Although there is one month to go for this quarter, can you provide a short report what has been achieved so far?
