What is your idea about?
The TYPO3 Academic Committee helps to organize an anual event for universities and colleges who use TYPO3 or are thinking about using TYPO3. Due to the Covid-19-situation the last two years the event has taken place as an online event. We would love to return as an on site event. Therefore we need funding of the evening event. The tickets for the event are normally not that expensive (about 50€ per person), to make sure all university members can attend. At the moment we still search for a university to organize the event. In the past we have had a budget of about 5000€ to help the event take place.
What is the potential impact of your idea?
- Strengthening cooperation among universities for new features / extensions and their further development
- Marketing for TYPO3 in the university environment
- get together of the special users of TYPO3 in universities/colleges
