Public feedback channel to the TYPO3 Board

Thanks for laying out these plans so openly in the article (Changes Coming to the General Assembly 2027) and for inviting feedback here. In the spirit of that open discussion, I’d like to ask for a bit more detail on one point:
Therefore, an extraordinary GA is planned before the next regular one.
Do you already know when this extraordinary GA is planned, what will be on the agenda, and which topics members will be asked to vote on?
If that’s not settled yet, could you share a rough timeline for when you expect to have those details?

thank you for your questions. The timeline is not set definitely yet. We plan to hold the extraordinary in the later second half of this year.
One topic is to change the by-laws to prolong the timeline for petitions before the ordinary GA. Right now it’s only two weeks between the deadline to file a petition and the GA itself.
Also the ongoing governance process might need changes in the by-laws.
Any planned change will be communicated in time, to give everyone sufficient time and space to form an educated opinion.
We are locking to set the timeline and dates in the following weeks. Meanwhile we’ll keep you informed as good as possible.

I have another question to the board:
Will we get details about “A TYPO3-based product as a revenue model for the TYPO3 Company” on the Dialogue Days? Details meaning: Product-Description, Pricing, Reasoning behind the Product, etc.
And will those details be published to the public?

Daniel gave you all information that there is at present at the partner meeting last week. The agenda for the dialogue days will be send to the participants the next days.
TBH: That was not my question. Yes, I have some information as a partner. But I would like to know if and when the TYPO3 Association will communicate about this to the TYPO3 community that is not a GmbH Partner.
