What is your idea about?
Using crowdin for TYPO3 has been a great success. https://localize.typo3.org/xliff/status.html shows that a lot of extension owners use this tool. However, 2020 was a very difficult year and after March, many people - including me - change their priorities due to Covid19. SInce September I am back on track and wuld like to finish the tasks which I suggested for 2020.
What is the potential impact of your idea?
"The 1st basic feature has been shipped which shows the translation status on extensions.typo3.org (e.g. https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/news/) but if a new extensions should be added, still a lot of manual tasks need to be done which is errorprone and can be automated quite easily.
Recap of the missing features:
- Automatically create projects on Crowdin with proper permission handling
- Update used API to latest version
- Improve fallback xliff files from old translation server
Besides coding, people have regularly questions, especailly on slack. Also the feedback given there should be more added to the official docs.
