We use TYPO3 workspaces to draft content and publish it, when it is ready. This is very helpful in our editorial landscape.
Unfortunately, we encountered difficulties with the sync of relations in the editorial and the live workspace. We opened a bug report on forge, but we were not able to fix it yet. See: https://forge.typo3.org/issues/105578
What can we do to mitigate this issue? Any tips are welcome.

Thank you for asking about the status and how you can help mitigate the issue.
As @lolli says in the issue comment, this may be a combination of known bugs and issues with your particular implementation. Looking at how the category relations are implemented may help you find a way to resolve your issue, as they are working without any known errors at the moment. That will also allow you to isolate issues in your code from any bug in the core.
The MM-related issues are being worked on at the moment, but due to their complexity it’s hard to say when they will be resolved. The estimate in the issue is ~3 days “for a dev who know whats going on.” A sponsorship of the Core Team may free up time on other issues, which could benefit progress in this case.
