I am interested in TYPO3 and want to help, but I’m unsure how much experience I need to have to be of any help. Is there anything I can do as a programmer that don’t have super much experience?
There’s a multitude of ways on how to help TYPO3!
If you want to start with easy programming-related tasks, you can check out the Easy tasks filter on Forge. To get started with contributing, especially the setup and everything that is needed, check out the documentation. If you encounter any problems, you can always ask on Slack in the #typo3-cms-coredev channel.
Otherwise, documentation contributions are always needed as well, and you can help out there as well. For this you can check out the repositories on GitHub. However, a good starting point is asking on Slack in the #typo3-documentation-sig channel.
If you don’t have access to the TYPO3 Slack yet, here’s a guide for it!
Hope that answers your initial question, if you want to know more, feel free to ask.
