Philipp Stranghöner - candidate for the 2025 BCC election

I have been working as a product manager at Mittwald for almost 15 years and have therefore been in daily contact with content management systems. During this time I have not only learnt to know TYPO3, but also to appreciate it - both professionally and in my part-time work as a freelancer.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://voting.typo3.org/elections/2025/philipp-stranghoener

Hello everyone! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions - whether in this thread, on Slack, LinkedIn, or wherever works best for you!

Contributing to the TYPO3 BCC is a significant responsibility, demanding an average of 0.75 day per month. This involves (list is not complete and not sorted by amount of work):

  • Regular BCC and board meetings
  • Bi-annual in-person meetings of the board
  • Actual BCC-related work

Do you have the ressources to fullfill this?

Hey Ingo, thanks for your question!

Before applying, I took a close look at the requirements, and my conversation with you, Ingo, gave me a good overview of how much time this task requires. Not only have I personally planned the necessary time for this, but I am also fortunate that my employer, mittwald, allows me time for my involvement in the community.

I also have a lot of flexibility in managing my time at mittwald, which enables me to act flexibly for the BCC. All in all, I am sure that I can definitely fulfill this task.
