News system extension - is it multilingual?

Hello,

I’m trying to figure out if the news system extension is multilingual. I cannot find the “create a new translation for this” option as I can see it for pages. Are news items translatable?

before you can translate records you need to translate the page in which the records are stored.
If you want the records in multiple languages the page needs to have the same translations,
