Improving the visibility of https://docs.typo3.org in popular search engines

What is our idea about? What is the problem we are solving?
The aim of this project is to identify all easily exploitable SEO potentials that are affecting the visibility of https://docs.typo3.org in search engine result pages. The focus is primarily on “low hanging fruits”. These are SEO hurdles that the documentation team can easily eliminate by making structural changes to the presentation of the editorial content entered by contributors. In a subsequent full-day workshop, the Documentation Team is taught how to implement all of these tasks independently in their processes!

What do we want to achieve by the end of Q2 2025?
At the end of the project, the Documentation Team will be able to sustainably improve the visibility and findability of TYPO3 help topics in search engines and maintain them at a higher level than is currently the case.

What is the potential impact of this idea for the overall goal?
What is the benefit for the TYPO3 community?
An optimized help and documentation section not only offers better support, but also increases user satisfaction, reduces any costs for other support channels and strengthens competitiveness against other CMSs. • Users looking for solutions to problems with TYPO3 find the documentation more quickly via Google and other search engines.
  • Well-optimized help articles enable users to solve problems themselves without frustration and having to use other contact channels.

The complete budget will go to Sven Deutschländer and his company. I as a team leader and possibly other team members will take place in the workshop traveling costs carried by the team budget.

I see it nowadays more important that the docs are LLM compatible. As this will be the future of development, not traditional search engines. So I would highly recommend instead or additionally, to include a single-markdown-page generation feature, tailored for AI driven development. See more here: LLMs.txt Explained | Towards Data Science
