How to import mm-relations with ext:external_import?

I’m trying to import from one TYPO3 table to another.
There are mm-fields like categories or files to be transferred. Is there a simple solution (configuration) to transfer these mm-relations?
(at the moment I only can think about transformation functions with a lot of db-queries)
