What is your idea about?
EXT:calendarize is a widely used calendar for TYPO3. The community benefits from the high flexibility of the extension. This should now be taken a step further and brought into line with the latest TYPO3 version.
What do you want to achieve by the end of Q1 2025?
Goals regarding the budget request are:
- Compatibility for TYPO3 v13 for the entire EXT:calendarize ecosystem (EXT:calendarize, EXT:calendarize_pages, EXT:calendarize_news, EXT:calendarize_content)
- Use of site sets for TYPO3 v13
- Daily frequencies (Ticket #702)
- Configurable “addDateTimeFrameConstraint” (Ticket #813)
- Add a Form element for event selection as example to build default EXT:form forms that are connected to EXT:calendarize
What is the potential impact of your idea for the overall goal?
After “Calendar Base (cal)” has not been developed for several years, EXT:calendarize is now one of the most used calendar extensions for TYPO3. The main advantage of the extension is, that you can display your own data structures in a calendar (just by using the API and adapt a few templates).
The community will benefit from a new release with modern functions, a more modern code base and compatibility with TYPO3 v13.
Which budget do you need for your idea?
5.000 Euro
