Change Root - Homepage

Hello there! I’m new here and I’m a beginner in Typo3. I have a new website which is developed in Typo3 , and i need to change root page (the homepage) with another page. This page will be a sort of landing page with a button which will redirect to the old homepage. How can i do this?

Consider i’m at the beginning and i don’t know typo3’ structure very well.

Hi fabiowndr,

this depends on many factors:

  • Which TYPO3 version do you use?
  • how are the typo3Script templates included?
  • are there domain records?

An alternative could be to just move the content elements from one page to another?

  1. My typo version is the 8.7.37
  2. I think typoscripts are included by tab resources in the Homepage itself. I’m sorry but i don’t know typo3 very well. Where can i see typoscripts?
  3. I don’t think there are domain records, i haven’t access to server configuration, how can check them on Typo3?
