Categories lost if no permissions

Hi,
I have the following problem or question.
A user has rights to edit page properties but the categories, that he has no permission for, are deleted after saving the record…

Example:
The user has rights for categorie1. If the page has categorie1 and categorie2, and the user saves the page properties, categorie2 is lost.

I dont know if its a bug or intentional, but how can i prevent this from happening?

Hey Evelin,

this sounds weird, never had that before working with editors and different category rights.
Are you sure that no other extension is manipulating there?
