Our idea revolves around creating a TYPO3 CMS extension that provides editors with the flexibility to leverage various AI translation services for translating content in the backend. This model-agnostic approach aims to cater to different budgets and preferences, allowing editors to choose the service that best suits their needs.
Overall, our idea aims to empower TYPO3 CMS users with a powerful and flexible translation solution that leverages cutting-edge AI technologies. What do you want to achieve by the end of Q3 2024?
By the end of the third quarter of our primary goal is to implement a backend module within the extension that facilitates the automatic translation of locallang.xlf files by editors. Additionally, we aim to provide a functionality that enables the export/import option of these translated files in a CSV (Excel) format. This comprehensive approach not only streamlines the translation process but also ensures seamless integration with other tools and workflows.
Furthermore, we are exploring options for incorporating open-source language models, thereby promoting accessibility and cost-effectiveness, which could prove invaluable for organizations with limited budgets. Additionally, the integration with AI content generation plugins opens new possibilities for content creation and enhancement, further expanding the capabilities of our extension.
